He was recognized as a young and energetic actor with good looks and confident skills. He was nominated for the rookie male actor of the year at the Blue Dragon Awards, and won the actor of the year award at the Durban International Film Festival. Since then, he has starred in both films and TV shows films such as <Cute of the Class>, <Byulsungum>, <My Mighty Princess>, and others. After ending his national service in 2011, he starred in <My Love Beside Me> as the protagonist Ko Suk-Bin, in a performance that successfully conveyed the character’s inner feelings. In 2012, ON started to become more active on the big screen, beginning with a role in IM Sang-soo’s <The Taste of Money>. That was followed by the revenge thriller <The Fives> in 2013 and the erotic melodrama <Obsessed> in 2014. Two more drama-thrillers followed in 2015, with the <Time Renegade> and <Remember Me>.
