He started his film career as working for the camera and electrical department of the film, <Joint Security Area>. He has worked as a cinematographer for ten films. His first documentary was <Neighborhood> which was awarded the Mecenat Award of the Busan International Film Festival in 2016 and the first prize of the Persons with Disabilities Film Festival in 2017. <Trip of Blues> is his second documentary which took two years to complete.
