  • PiFan Road Show in SangSang Madang-PiFan Never Ends

There will be a second chance to view some of the films screened during the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan). PiFan and KT&G SangSang Madang will co-host the ‘PiFan Road Show in SangSang Madang-PiFan Never Ends (PiFan Road Show for short)’ at SangSang Madang Cinema near Hongik University from October 26th to 28th.

Those who missed the chance to visit PiFan this year can see a variety of award winners and popular films of the festival at the PiFan Road Show. Richard BATES Jr.’s Excision, which caught attention for its unique style in the ’Puchon Choice’ competition section, Alexandre O. PHILIPPE’s The Life and Times of Paul the Psychic Octopus, which generated waves when it screened in the ‘World Fantastic Cinema’ section, as well as Gérald HUSTACHE-MATHIEU’s fascinating thriller Nobody Else But You, and the hilarious adult comedy Vulgaria, directed by PANG Ho-cheung, both of which screened as part of the ‘Vision Express’ section, will all be screened during the road show.

Short films in the line up include JEON Byeong-deok’s The Fantastic Duo, the winner of the Best Short Film award, GO Jeong-uk’s Poison Frog, the recipient of the Citizen’s Choice for Short Film award, and Han Ji-hye’s The Birth of a Hero, which won the Best Korean Short Film award.

In addition to this, 8 lively short films, including last year’s best Korean short film The Adult’s Flesh, directed by JEONG Ki-jeong, and The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon, directed by Richard GALE, and 4 feature films will be screened as well.

Further details about the ‘PiFan Road Show’ are available on the official website of the festival (www.pifan.com) and tickets can be booked on SangSang Madang's website (www.sangsangmadang.com).
