It is highly likely that SWINTON will take a role in Okja

BONG Joon-ho’s next film will star actress SWINTON who impressed audiences with unique acting in Snowpiercer. SWINTON mentioned the fact in a long interview posted by Collider.Com, a U.S. entertainment website on July 15 .

“I do know what it is, but I don’t know that I can tell you yet." the actress said. "I do know what it is, and I do know that we’re making it next year. It is imminent, and it is very exciting. I’m very, very thrilled about that one."

It is highly likely the project which SWINTON did not reveal in the interview will be Okja (working title). BONG said that he chose Okja among films which he had been planning as his next film at the Master Class of Korean Academy of Film Arts held in May.

Rumors about Okja have been going around for years. It is known that Okja is a monster film that follows The Host and will be shot in Korea and the U.S. with English-speaking actors taking supporting roles. Lately, BONG has been having top secret interviews with child actors who will play the leading role in the film.
