ASEAN-Korea Youth Short Film Festival Welcomes Submissions until September 24th

Festival to take place in late October, Award Cash Prizes
 

The ASEAN-Korea Youth Short Film Festival is calling for submissions from August 1st to September 24th. 

The Asean-Korea Youth Short Film Festival is co-organized by The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), the ASEAN Youth Network in Korea (AYNK) and more. This year’s festival will take place at Lotte World Mall, Seoul, on October 28th under the theme of ‘Enhancing Mutual Understanding, Creating Harmony’. 

Submissions should be short films with a length of 7 minutes or less in any genre and be made after November 2016. Any ASEAN and Korean youth under the age of 35 can participate in the competition.Applicants need to submit their films in MP4 format to youth@aseankorea.org either as an attachment, or a shared link on an online cloud storage. The prize-winning films will be selected by juries composed of Koreans and members from ASEAN countries. The festival will award five cash prizes which include the Grand Prix, Gold Film Award, Silver Film Award, Bronze Film Award and People’s Choice Award. The award ceremony will be held on October 28th followed by screenings of selected short films, Q&A sessions and receptions. For more information, please visit www.aseankorea.org.
