Hyun-bin and SON Ye-jin Team Up for NEGOTIATION with JK Film

Hitmaking Stars and Studio Start Shooting New Thriller in June
Hyun-bin and SON Ye-jin have confirmed that they will appear together in Negotiation, the latest blockbuster from hitmaking production house JK Film.
SON will play a member of a police negotiation team, who must lead an investigation when her boss is kidnapped by a man played by Hyun-bin.
Taking on the first villain role in his career, Hyun-bin recently scored at the box office with the Lunar New Year hit Confidential Assignment, which welcomed almost eight million viewers to theaters. He will be seen again later this year opposite YOO Ji-tae in the drama-thriller The Swindlers.
Though already a massive star, 2016 proved a breakout year for SON, who won the Best Actress prize at almost every industry awards during the last 12 months for her roles in both LEE Kyoung-mi’s The Truth Beneath and HUR Jin-ho’s The Last Princess, the latter of which was also a smash with viewers, as it accrued over 5.5 million viewers.
JK Film, which is run by director JK YOUN, has been responsible for many of the biggest hits of the last ten years, including Haeundae (2009), Ode to My Father (2014), The Himalayas (2015) and Confidential Assignment.
Handling the director’s reigns for the first time will be LEE Jong-seok, who was an assistant director under YOUN on Ode to My Father. Negotiation will go before cameras in June.
