SHINHWA’s Jun-jin Makes Screen Debut in Chinese Film PILI BACK

Playing the Role of a Villain Against Vanness Wu
 
 
K-pop band SHINHWA’s Jun-jin is appearing in upcoming Chinese movie. He will make his cinematic debut in sci-fi action comedy Pili Back (W/T). The film is directed by GAO Fei who picked the award from China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and produced by Stanley TONG who directed the movies such as Police Story 3 (1992) and The Myth (2005) starring KIM Hee-seon and Jackie CHAN.
 

Jun-jin will play a villain who is able to manage fire due to his special genetic transformation. Main character conflicting with Jun-jin's role is performed by Vanness Wu from Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden (2003). In addition, popular Chinese-speaking actors including YU Qian and LI Wu Lin will feature in the film.

 

Jun-jin gained big fame with his attractive look and powerful stage performance since his debut as a boy group SHINHWA. He has been doing acting and singing after becoming a stable singer. He started acting in TV series Non Stop 4 (2003) and has built his filmography in Forbidden Love aka Nine-Tailed Fox (2004), Let's Go to The Beach (2005) and Here He Comes (2008). He also appeared in Chinese drama You Are My Dreams (2008).

 

Meanwhile, Pili Back is set to begin shooting at the end of April to make its premiere in January, 2017. Jun-jin will join the project at the break of June.
