HA Jung-woo’s Directorial Debut Set for October Release

THE TERROR, LIVE Star's Comedy FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT To Hit Theaters 
 

Fasten Your Seatbelt (Fantagio Pictures), HA Jung-woo’s directorial debut, will be released in Korea on October 17th. The film is written and directed by HA, the star of The Berlin File and The Terror, LIVE, which combined drew 12 million spectators this year.
 
Fasten Your Seatbelt is a comedy that starts when an airplane with Korean Hallyu star MA Jun-gyu (JUNG Kyung-ho) aboard is hit by a typhoon and faced with a crash crisis. JUNG Kyung-ho, who starred in Running Turtle (2009) and Sunny (2011), will play MA Jun-gyu. Since being discharged from the military, JUNG has appeared mostly in TV series such as Heartless City. He will attempt his first comic role through Roller Coaster. Supporting roles will be played by KIM Sung-kyun who impressed spectators through Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time and The Neighbors, and KIM Byoung-ok who appeared in Cold Eyes and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (2005).
 
HA is now acting in Kundo: Age of the Rampant directed by YOON Jong-bin who made Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time. Following this project, HA will direct and star in Chronicle of a Blood Merchant, a film adaptation of Chinese author YU Hua's 1995 novel.
