Web Drama 72 Seconds Won a Prize at LAWEBFEST

72 Seconds by web content company 72 Seconds received the Outstanding Special/Visual Effect award at the Los Angeles Web Series Festival (LAWEBFEST). Founded in 2010, LAWEBFEST, one of the world’s biggest web festivals, is called Sundance of the web fests. The 8th edition of the festival was held at Sony Pictures Studios for three days from April 28th to 30th. It received more than 120 submissions from the world including United States, Britain, France, Poland and India, and 72 Seconds co-received the Outstanding Special/Visual Effect with Belgian web series, BURKLAND

Directed by JIN Kyung-hwan, 72 Seconds is web series about daily life of an ordinary man living alone. Each episode of the series unfolds the story with music in the background in less than two minutes and recorded 3,500 views in total thanks to its sensual direction. 72 Seconds, which is currently updated Season 3, can be viewed on YouTube, Facebook and Naver TV. 

“We are pleased to have such a good result at LAWEBFEST, the world largest web series festival.” 72 Seconds said and added “The award is expected to become a cornerstone of our company, which is looking for entering overseas markets to discuss with various global partner companies about co-production and distribution of localized contents.”
