South Korea's three most infamous haunted locations include the Gonjiam Psychiatric Hospital, the Yeongdeok Fish Restaurant in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and the Neulbom Garden BBQ restaurant in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do. The film "SPRING GARDEN" is rooted in the real-life legends surrounding these places. Despite her sister Hye-ran's warnings, So-hee moves into Neulbom Garden, a rural estate that is her late husband's only legacy. There, she gradually encounters an ominous fate. Unexplainable events begin to occur one by one, and a vague sense of dread grows amid the eerie atmosphere. "SPRING GARDEN" faithfully adheres to the classic horror film formula, featuring a cursed location, rules that must not be broken, and the accidental breach of a forbidden area. The horror performances of actors Jo Yoon-hee and Kim Joo-ryung further heighten expectations. The film also contains well-placed jump scares throughout, warranting ample mental preparation. The familiar yet chilling warning, "Never go inside," evokes the most primal fears.
