A runaway prisoner sneaks into his hometown. Soon after, a kid is seen playing with a handgun that someone has dropped. With the ear-splitting whistles of the police chasing the escapee, the virginal landscape is reflected in the eyes of the child. The same landscape that the escaped prisoner looked at in his childhood. In the end, an old store keeper falls victim to the kids mischievous handling of the gun and the prisoner is shot dead by the police.
