One bright Sunday afternoon, everyone is out except Eun-jee and her mother. Eun-jees mom, having put on pale white make-up, asks Eun-jee to accompany her to the public bath house. Eun-jee meets her kindergarten friend Myong-hee and her mom. Seeing Myong-hee, much more slender than she, and Myong-hee's mom, much more glamorous than her own unfashionable mother, makes Eun-jee jealous.
