So-hee believes that when her father died he went to Mars. When she writes to him, her buddy Seung-jae writes back 'from Mars', posing as her father. So-hee leaves for the big city, becoming a successful career woman. When she returns to her hometown years later, the two meet again. Seung-jae is the town postman.
