One winter day, Yuwon returns home disheartened by the news of a colleague with whom she used to write novels. As she enters, Jaeyoon, who is at home, tells Yuwon that he saw a swallow outside the window a little while ago. Yuwon not believing his words and feeling down, doesn't give it much thought. However, that night, Yuwon also hears the chirping of a swallow. She heads toward the direction of the sound and steps into a place glowing with a purple light. Then Yuwon wakes from her dream. She goes to Jaeyoon's room looking for him and absentmindedly reads the script he has been working on, just as Jaeyoon comes in. Yuwon tries to tell Jaeyoon about the dream, but he doesn't seem particularly interested. After much deliberation, Yuwon tells Jaeyoon that she will start writing again. Remembering the day she decided to give up on future challenges in response to Jaeyoon's request to live like other couples, she finds it hard to fall asleep. Jaeyoon finishes his script, and Yuwon also completes her novel. In her own novel, Yuwon encounters the swallow.
