Wolf Daddy Awarded at Hiroshima Fest

Director CHANG Hyung-yun's short animation Wolf Daddy (2005) won the Hiroshima Award at this year's edition of the Hiroshima International Animation Festival, one of the four major animation festivals worldwide. The festival August 24-28 2006 - describes its prize winner as "() delightfully ironic and humorous film about the transformative power of unexpected parenthood." Wolf Daddy is about a novelist wolf which seeks tranquility in the countryside for writing his magnum opus, only to become the surrogate-father of a little six-year-old girlwhen her mother leaves the child with him. The film picked upprevious awards, the Korean Animation Award (2005) and one at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (2005). Yi Ch'ang-ho (KOFIC)
