Over the Past 24 Years, 270 Films Completed among 632 Selected Films

Asian Project Market (APM), the biggest film market in Asia, will recruit new projects for 2022 by June 15, 2022. APM discovers original and novel projects for feature films produced in Korea and Asia, from commercial to low-budget independent films. It also arranges meetings to explore global investment, production & distribution companies and seek co-productions.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the meetings were mainly held online in 2020 and 2021. Despite somewhat limited circumstances, 100 people from 91 companies participated in the meetings in 2021 through the online market system and the face-to-face business window. In 2021, APM held a total of 515 meetings successfully, raising its status as Asia's largest investment and co-production market.

Unlike previous years, APM in 2022 only recruits certain works that both directors and producers have decided to support the practical effectiveness of the meetings. To apply for the project, film directors are required to have the experience in directing at least 1 short or feature film, while film producers or filmmakers are required to have the experience in producing 1 or more feature films.

APM has selected a total of 632 films over the past 24 years, and about 270 films have been completed. A number of films supported by APM have been invited to the world's leading film festivals, including BIFF, recognized for their cinematic qualities.
