Starring YOO Hae-jin, director LEE Gae-byok’s LUCK-KEY (produced by Yong Film and distributed by Showbox), released on October 13th, surpassed 5 million audiences as of October 28th within 16 days of release.

It already exceeded Punch (2011)’s 5,311,307 admissions, which was the most successful movie among local films released in October.

LUCK-KEY continues to break records of the all-time local comedies. The film attracted 1 million viewers in three days, 2 million in four days, 3 million in nine days and 5 million in 16 days of its opening. This is a day earlier than Miracle in Cell No.7 (2013), which passed 5 million moviegoers in 17 days after its opening.

In addition, it was two days ahead of Miss Granny (2014). LUCK-KEY is the only comedy drawing more than 5 million audiences after Miss Granny. LUCK-KEY was helmed by The Beast and the Beauty (2005) director LEE Gae-byok, depicting pleasantly a killer’s life changing who has lost his memories.
