He suddenly became a star and appeared in many dramas as a major actor including <Love Letter>, <Forbidden Love>, <Ballad of Suh Dong>, <One Mom and Three Dads>, and <49 days>. He was adored by his fans for his emotional performance and expressive eyes. Many viewers expect great things from him. JO made his big screen debut as a co-star in E J-yong’s popular period drama <Untold Scandal> in 2003. Four years later he made his leading man debut in the military horror film <The Guard Post>.
