  • KIM Ki-duk Had attended DMZ DOCS
     
     
    KIM Ki-duk, the famous director of Pieta is well known for his great interest in DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival. He is also a maniac of documentaries and independent movies. For this reason, he had unofficially attended DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival every year.
     
    Especially in year 2010, he had watched the opening ceremony of the 2nd DMZ Festival from the very beginning to the end despite the fact that he never left his house at that time for the production of his movie titled ARIRANG.
     
    KIM Ki-duk, who has awarded a Venice Golden Lion this year, visited the festival with the movies main actress, CHO Min-su and actor LEE Jung-jin. Having arrived in Imjingang station earlier than the others. KIM Ki-duk took a train, sharing conversations with the Festival’s commissioner CHO Jae-hyun, the chairman KIM Dong-geun, and the well known actor AHN Sung-ki to get to the Dorasan station. Not only that but he also joined the reception festival and celebrated the successful start of DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival.
