KIM Woo-bin Comedy to Meet US Viewers

Twenty, which is in the midst of a successful run in Korean theaters, will be unveiled in North American multiplexes this Friday (April 17). Though financed and distributed domestically by Next Entertainment World (NEW), the film’s stateside release is being handled by CJ Entertainment America, which distributes about 20 to 24 titles per annum on the continent.
LEE’s film will get a simultaneous release in 25 theaters, in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Dallas, as well as in Toronto and Vancouver in Canada. Following its first place debut on March 25th in Korea, Twenty has to date accumulated 2.77 million admissions (USD 19.53 million) and is still ranked third at the box office.
