Actor JO Je-hyun (Bad Guy) and actress KIM Ji-soo (This Charming Girl) have been cast together in the new film Romance, to be directed by MOON Seung-wook. MOON previously directed the low-budget sci-fi film Nabi, which was presented with a Best Actress award for KIM Ho-jung at the 2001 Locarno International Film Festival. His third feature Romance is described as a "traditional melodrama", and will be produced by LJ Film, the company behind KIM Ji-soo's acclaimed debut film This Charming Girl. "More than any other genre, JO Jae-hyun is well-suited for melodramas," said director MOON of his male lead, who has won over many fans for his roles in TV dramas. Scheduled to start shooting in mid-June, Romance will be financed and distributed by CJ Entertainment.
