  • CGV Introduces the Movie Experience to 2,500 Students

On April 16th, CJ CGV held their fourth ‘Movie for Everyone’ event in Vietnam. This cultural program in Vietnam aims to install screen and sound facilities, as well as screen movies in school auditoriums, in areas where there are no theaters. Since its opening ceremony on April 16th, the fourth ‘Movie For Everyone’ has provided free screening for 2,500 young Vietnamese students. Up to now, the program has reached 13,000 people in Vietnam.

“We visited three rural areas, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Quang Nam, where the conditions for film exposure are still limited and provided free movie screenings for 2,500 students,” CGV said. “We selected Korean-Vietnamese romantic comedy The Girl From Yesterday for this year’s program.” The Girl From Yesterday is a recent movie by PHAN Gia Nhat Linh, who directed SWEET 20, Vietnamese remake of Korean smash hit Miss Granny (2014). The film relates teenager's love stories. Meanwhile, DO My Linh, Miss Vietnam 2016, attended the ‘Movie For Everywhere’ opening ceremony in Quang Binh on April 16th and vowed a lot of young students.
