20 People including WANG Liping, Director of Shanghai Film Group
Global figures in the fields of cinema and culture will be visiting Korea as part of the K-Fellowship. Organized by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Korean Culture and Information Service, K-Fellowship is a program that invites influential people of cinema and culture from around the world.
The 20 visitors hail from 18 countries and comprise the fields of museum/art center, dance and art specialists including WANG Liping, the Director of Shanghai Film Group Co. Ltd. (China), Joanna Lapinska, the Senior Programmer of Transatlantyk Festival (Poland), Sharon Ament, the Director of the Museum of London (England), Winrich Hopp, the Art Director of Musikfest Berlin (Germany) and Benoit Debuyst, the Art Director of Le Festival Musiq’3 (Belgium).
Through K-Fellowship, influential people in culture and art circles from around the world can experience Korean culture and art and have the opportunity to meet local cultural artists. Visitors will come to Korea in sequence from July 3rd to October 29th. In a change to previous years, this year’s program will invite visitors in groups rather than individually.
“We prepared a variety of events such as visiting festivals like Seoul International Dance Festival (SIDance), Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS), Korea International Art Fair (KIAF) and
Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), seminars for the interested, visiting relevant organizations and attending opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang.” the Korean Culture and Information Service said.
