Will Provide Various Experiences from Cinema History to VR
The Busan Museum of Movies will be open to the public from July 4th. The museum first opened in June to host a Media Day.
The museum located in Jung-gu, Busan, is preparing for its grand opening. The museum will feature exhibitions on the history of movies and of cutting edge, cinema technologies such as film production and virtual reality. “We will operate high-tech experience halls and experience facilities. The former includes the ‘Street of Cinema’ which will focus on movie history and the history of film technology development, ‘Masterpiece Square’ will display film soundtracks and film records, ‘Film School’ will have film making sets, shooting labs and VR and there will also be a movie amusement park, cinema village for children and film festival halls.” the museum said. The building has four floors above the ground and three underground with 18 “experience facilities” and VR rooms.
