Dexter China is planning to expand and hire more workers.

Take Off), announced that the company induced investments from China. On July 21, Dexter struck a deal on Legend Capital’s investment of USD 10million into its equities. Legend Capital is an affiliate of Lenovo in China, a world-class PC company. Earlier, Dexter induced a total of USD 21million in investments from major Chinese companies such as Wanda and Legend Holdings Group.
In connection, Dexter expanded and moved Dexter China, its Chinese Corporation to the 798 Art District in the northeast of Beijing. Dexter China opened a work space for DI (Digital Intermediate) in the district. They have been equipped with a super computer and a 3D scan system of their own development. Dexter is planning to increase the number of its workers to 80 to 100 by the end of this year by increasing the recruitment of artists.
Lately Dexter has been taking the lead in the Korea film industry’s advance into the Chinese VFX market while spearheading VFX work for the Chinese blockbusters such as The Taking of Tiger Mountain and The Monkey King. In addition, the company founded the Chinese edition of Cinefex, a VFX-specialized magazine which carries all kinds of VFX news. Through these projects, Dexter will grow Dexter China into a VFX studio that can match its head office.
