Indie Darling Out on DVD and Blu-ray April 13th

Festival favorite and multiple award winner Han Gong-ju is being brought to the UK home video market courtesy of Asian film distributor Third Window. The film will be made available on April 13th on both DVD and Blu-ray.

The debut of director LEE Su-jin, Han Gong-ju tells the story of a high school girl who is forced to change schools after a terrible incident, until she discovers how difficult it is to move on when her past comes back to haunt her.

Following its debut at the Busan International Film Festival, where it won a pair of awards (CGV Movie Collage and Citizen Reviewers’ Award), LEE’s film went to screen to acclaim at a slew of events, earning top honors at the Marrakesh, Rotterdam and Fribourg International Film Festivals. The film also turned actress CHUN Woo-hee into a star overnight, not to mention a Blue Dragon Film Awards and Korean Film Reporters Association Best Actress awardee.

The UK releases will also include LEE’s award-winning short Enemy’s Apple. Third Window has previously been responsible for bringing film such as How to Use Guys with Secret Tips (2013), Pluto (2012), Bleak Night (2010), The President’s Last Bang (2005) and Oasis (2002), among many others, to the UK.
