The Paris Korean Film Festival (Festival du Film Coréen à Paris) to be held from October 28th until November 3th, will program a variety of films for the city in France. Screenings are to be scheduled in the Pubilicis Theater on Champs-Élysées for the 8 days. The Opening Film is

Roaring Currents and closing with

The Divine Move. The opening and the closing films will also act as press conferences. It will be the first time to see
Roaring Currents on a big screen in Europe.
The festival has 5 sections. Paysage covers the recent contemporary feature works in the past 2 years. Portrait takes a study of a single new filmmaker through their shorts and features. Short Cut carefully selects shorts for this competition program amongst few hundred submissions. Classiques looks back into the older films from Korea, and Seances Speciales is the special screening. New this year is the Focus program which will take a close look at the works of actor KIM Yun-seok. He will be visiting Paris for this occasion to present his films and to meet with the audiences.
