  • Second Festival Invitation after Sundance

Stoker, the highly-anticipated English-language debut of PARK Chan-wook is gaining steam ahead of its late February/early March international release. First it was revealed that it would have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this month and now comes news of its second major festival selection as it has been chosen to close the 42nd edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

The psychological thriller, from a script by Wentworth MILLER and starring Mia WASIKOWSKA, Nicole KIDMAN and Matthew GOODE, is about a young girl whose mysterious uncle enters her life following her father's death.

Fox Searchlight is handling the distribution and the film will bow in US theaters on March 1st while Korea will get to see it slightly earlier as it will open here on February 28th.
