Director BONG Joon-ho Becomes to Head Jury for Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival

“The Smallest Festival with the Biggest Imagination”

The 3rd Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival has appointed director BONG Joon-ho as its head of jury. The festival draws much attention year after year for its spectacular jury members. The first edition had director LEE Joon-ik and the second edition jury head was director PARK Chan-wook.

This year jury members include executive producer of Masquerade KIM Ho-seung, actor LEE Sun-ho, director YOON Jong-seok, director LEE Moo-young, and director YIM Pil-sung. Director BONG is preparing to release Snow Piercer across the world this summer. He said, “It’s ironic that while waiting for the release of my biggest film, I have to take on this responsibility as a jury head. It’s a small festival with the biggest level of imagination. I will go back to how I used to be when I was making short films.”

The application period is from February 1st to 28th and you can submit films on the festival homepage (www.ollehfilmfestival.com). The festival will take place from April 17th to 20th.
