Venice releases the film's screening schedule; KIM Ki-duk will also speak at a special event
The Venice Film Festival's official screening schedule for
KIM Ki-duk's
Pieta has now been released. On August 29 KIM Ki-duk, actress
CHO Min-su and actor
LEE Jung-jin were set to depart with the ambition to win the prized Golden Lion. After their arrival at Venice in 1pm (8pm Korean time) on September 4th, they will have an official press conference and take part in the fest's photo opportunities.
The world premiere screening will take place at the Sala Grande after the red carpet event at 4:15pm (11:15pm Korean time). KIM will then take part in a conversation program, ‘Histories From The Future,’ at 6pm on September 5th. At 9pm KIM, CHO and LEE will also attend the Korean Film Night party, hosted by the
Korean Film Council (KOFIC).
Pieta has also been invited to other film festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival and Filmfest Hamburg, indicating that cineastes from all over the world are very curious to see how the film turned out.
