  • KOFIC Launches Reorganized KoBiz Site
  • by Christopher Weatherspoon /  Mar 06, 2018
  • New Design Features Clean Interface, Improved Layout

Frequent visitors to Korean Film Biz Zone (KoBiz) (http://www.koreanfilm.or.kr/eng/main/main.jsp) may have noticed something different lately. In February, the Korean Film Council (KOFIC – Chairman, OH Seok Geun) launched a reorganized KoBiz English website that features a new design and improved functions.

The site’s new homepage has been reorganized into a clean, white-based interface and features new menus that have been designed to provide more efficient access to KoBiz’s wealth of information. The makeover also introduces a specialized search function, which provides faster and more accurate results for the site’s Korean movie database. Additionally, the new design is more robust and responsive for those accessing the KoBiz site through mobile devices.

The KoBiz English homepage promotes the expansion of Korean films overseas by providing a platform to film industry professionals, film festival programmers and fans of Korean cinema and features up-to-date industry news, Korean film database and in-depth statistics on box office performances. KOFIC, which has supported co-production business matching events, also offers online ‘biz matching’ through the KoBiz site, which provides online consultation and practical business information to support international co-production efforts.

“The reorganization of the English KoBiz online business center strengthens content management and utilizes the variety of information held by KOFIC to provide practical services in order to be able to provide more diverse and accurate information on Korean cinema to the overseas film industry.” said KOFIC Chairman OH Seok Geun.
