- Dubbing Support for Overseas Release of Korean Films and Animations

- Submission Deadline Announcement (Apr. 12th, 2013)The Korean Film Council (KOFIC) has started a new support program for dubbed Korean films/animations releasing overseas this year. Foreign distributors planning to have their film/animation getting released until September 2013 are eligible to apply. The support will cover the cost for dubbing up to 70%. This program is to help Korean films get better opportunities to meet with foreign audience in certain countries. As the deadline is approaching to April 12th, those of interested applicants should get ready to submit their documents.
To apply, please carefully read the following information:1. Summary of the Program- Eligible applicant: Foreign Distributor (Buyer) who has plan to get a dubbing version of Korean film/animation released in their local theaters until Aug. 2013.- Application due date: Apr. 1 (Mon) ~ 12 (Fri), 2013- Subject: Support of the dubbing cost up to 70% (Max. KRW 35,000,000 = Approx. USD 32,000 per project)- Covering Items: Studio rentals, sound mixing, translation fee (dubbing script, materials), Material producing cost (M&E), dubbing director and actors’ fee etc.2.
