Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island followed the footsteps of its predecessor

Korean Film Council,
Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island collected 1,205,593 audiences from February 20th until the 22nd and took the top spot at the box office for the 3rd week of February. Currently the film is standing at 3,151,398.

Miss Granny rivaled last year in high numbers, and in comparison, ticket sales have diminished. Total number of theatergoers for the 3rd week of February was 3,877,004 which is a big drop from last year’s 4,978,725. However, looking back at year 2010 to now, the number of ticket buyers have been increasing on an average of 50,000 a year.
