JIN Ju-hyung Cast for Movies From Southeast Asian Countries

Starring JIN, Malaysian film SHUN PONG O to be Released in May

Rising star JIN Ju-hyung, who currently appears in KBS TV series Sunny Again Tomorrow, has movies coming out successively in Southeast Asian countries like Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.

JIN has gained recognition when Korean TV series Hwarang (2016) and Suspicious Partner (2017) were aired in the Philippines and Vietnam. He was cast for Korean-Filipino romance movie You With Me, which made him a new star of the Korean Wave when it was locally released in September 2017. Fluent in English since he has lived overseas for many years, he drew attention during the many promotional events and TV shows ahead of the release of You With Me.

JIN also appeared in Korean-Vietnamese music film Love Again where he was paired with Vietnamese top actress Chipu. He became even more popular when he later appeared in the video for Chipu’s debut album I’m in Love. The film Love Again was released in both countries in February 2018.

JIN Ju-hyung finished shooting Malaysian film Shun Pong O in early 2017 for a local release in May 2018. In addition, he signed a contract and is discussing his next project with Filipino production company Viva, which produced You With Me.
