They have been working on the project investing USD 600,000 by the end of 2016.

“Toto’s Film Making Class, the film making education program, was a center of the project. The first program started in November 2014, and the program has been going on with Indonesian youths who dream of being filmmakers until December 2016. 307 juveniles have produced 39 films in a total of eight programs: four times in Jakarta, three in Bandung and one in Yogyakarta.” CGV official said.

Besides, CJ CGV and KOICA have prepared a variety of events including holding their own film festivals and participation in other film festivals. Students got opportunities to attend a lot of film fests in Indonesia, like Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival, Festival Film Pelajar Sukabumi, Malang Film Festival and Festival Taman Film. CJ CGV and KOICA also opened six mentoring workshops for 75 film instructors. After the project, they contributed to build a cinema infrastructure by donating eight sets of movie making equipment to help participants in continuous film production.
