LET ME OUT Unleashed in Korea and US

Let Me Out
, the ‘Romantic Kimchi Zombie Movie’ from directors SOH Jae-young and KIM Chang-lae, is set to become the first independent Korean film to open simultaneously in South Korea (August 15th) and the United States (August 16th). Featuring rising K-drama star KWON Hyun-sang and TV and film actress PARK Hee-bon, Let Me Out is an original production from the Seoul Institute of Arts and the Baekdu-Daegan Film Company.
 
A stuck-up film school student, Mu-young has been criticizing other’s works while his debut still eludes him. After taking a shot at well-known independent filmmaker YANG Ik-june (Breathless) during his campus visit, Mu-young winds up receiving funding but can he step up and make his own film? He plans to shoot a romantic zombie film to work with his love-interest Ah-young only to realize making a film is not easy at all, neither is love.  
 
A premier event for the film will take place on August 16th at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles. The film is being released stateside by Group 1200 Media. Meanwhile, in Korea, Let Me Out will be shown on 15 screens.
 
Let Me Out debuted a year ago during the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival before receiving subsequent invitations to the Dallas, Hawaii and Mar Del Plata International Film Festivals among other
