Protagonist begins reminiscing about his lost father in front of his guest. Around two and a half years ago, his father transformed into an otter at a zoo. They cannot recognize each other anymore, and the protagonist is traumatized by such change. He starts doubting the appearance of everyone else, including his guest. In fact, the protagonist finds out his guest is changing her form as well.
